I'm probably just salty using a whole bottle of resin on test prints and exposure test squares, but... It refuses to stick to the build plate (well leveled and correctly sanded and cleaned). I bought the pack with two, and did try troubleshooting by just swapping, along with testing whether the direction of sanding or how deeply scratched the surface was or wasn't had any affect. It didn't.
Next I'll swap to a new fep and use a lubricant, but it really shouldn't come to this when printing exposure tests or the rook! I don't know if these plates don't play nice with the resin I'm using or what, but oof man.
Amazing idea, saves time, clean up etc... I would highly recommend this tool.
Quick change and start another print while you focus on cleaning the previous print. Perfect
The resin printing experience improves when adding these flexible plate system to the printer. From the resin mess and chiseling needed to take the prints off the bare build plate, to simply use a movement of your hand (mostly one hand is needed for this for most smaller printers). Since you do not have to manipulate the build plate a lot of resin is saved and subsequently also paper towels, gloves, alcohol and water (in my case this is enough for concern), so I would say that in addition to being so good to work with, they good for the environment.
This plates are amazing, have used for a while now and objections to be made. They are so good and makes your life so much easier that they should be already standard equipment will all printers
