We start with our original high chromium spring steel Flexi Plates and pre-install our Wham Bam textured PC build surface. Our high-performance, custom-blended Polycarbonate (or PC) build surface is ideal for low-temperature filaments like PLA and TPU, economy mode settings, or low heat beds! There is a slight texture that is created by huge rollers with an etched pattern right after it is extruded, NO sprayed on texture here. This is our clear PC build surface that is 0.175mm thick. Works perfectly with your Wham Bam magnetic base, not included.

*Attention: It is the buyer’s responsibility to be sure the size selected will work on your machine. Measure your bed, do not rely on build volume. Wham Bam is not responsible for mistaken order sizes.

I have older machines that are absolute workhorses.
But the Taped unremovable plate made life difficult when the tape was new, prints had to be yeated out of the machine.
Now I just wait for the plate to cool, and the print just gently pops off the WHAMBAM PEX plate.
Also worth noting, I havent had the need to use a brim or raft for supports since getting the PEX plate for these machines.

I absolutely needed this, and I love that it fits my large build plate!!

The PEI Flexi Plate works great. Not to sure how I lived without it., Going to buy more for my other printers. Easy to install, would recommend for anyone wanting to have a near flawless first layer.
