We have developed the Wham Bam PEX Build Surface from a specially formulated polymer with a higher melt point than PEI that attracts most any filament without damaging the sheet. Prints easily pop off once cooled and flexed. This thinner version of our PEX build surface is 0.19mm thick and pre-backed with 3M adhesive so it takes seconds to install.
Please note that some of our users find this thinner version of PEX (0.19mm) is not as suitable for PETG as our standard version (0.35mm), if using PETG we suggest using a glue stick as a barrier to avoid bonding and possible chipping during part removal.

I have older machines that are absolute workhorses.
But the Taped unremovable plate made life difficult when the tape was new, prints had to be yeated out of the machine.
Now I just wait for the plate to cool, and the print just gently pops off the WHAMBAM PEX plate.
Also worth noting, I havent had the need to use a brim or raft for supports since getting the PEX plate for these machines.
The adheasion is incredible!

I absolutely needed this, and I love that it fits my large build plate!!

The PEI Flexi Plate works great. Not to sure how I lived without it., Going to buy more for my other printers. Easy to install, would recommend for anyone wanting to have a near flawless first layer.
