****PETG has the tendency to bond to PEX, we highly suggest using a glue stick as a barrier when printing PETG on standard settings. For more on how to print PETG on the PEX build surface without glue, please read this guide thoroughly, adjust your slicer settings, and print this test cube in a corner to see if your PETG releases or bonds too well.

*Attention: It is the buyer’s responsibility to be sure the size selected will work on your machine. Measure your bed, do not rely on build volume and see if you are happy with the size before ordering. Please keep in mind that on one side you will have a tab that sticks out another 15mm. Wham Bam is not responsible for mistaken order sizes. Learn more about machine fits HERE.

**It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay any taxes and import duties. No refunds of uncollected customs packages.

Mirror finish with no need for glue!

Mirror finish with no need for glue! ABS has not warped either! Excellent upgrade for the Carbon X1.

Works great on Bambu

I purchased the pre-made PEX on spring plate for the Bambu lab x1c. It is high quality and is perfectly flat with Zero defects or bubbles. BE ABSOLUTELY sure you follow the instructions carefully. PETG sticks too well to the PEX. I strongly advise to use glue stick. There are replacement g-codes to use with the Bambu x1c and PETG. Use them! I used prusament PETG carmine red without following the instructions and I destroyed the PEX. So be warned.

Top quality materials and service

I've used Wham Bam build plates for about a year now on multiple machines - they work extremely well and are incredibly durable compared to most any other build surface we've tried. I will continue to use Wham Bam in the future for my personal and business 3d printers, Wham Bam's customer service and product can't be beat!

Great product

Received the plate in great condition and immediately installed on my X1 Carbon. Printed a couple small items using overture PETG. Didn't notice any lifting so went for a bit bigger project and had some lifting. Completely my fault. Used glue stick after for PETG and have had nothing but great results since. Just need to avoid a couple spots on the bed now.

Fantastic plate

The PEX surface is amazing. Everything does down like butter and sticks like glue. When the plate cools, parts literally slide right off. I don't even have to pull. This is with PLA, ABS, and ASA, but I'm sure other types work just as well. Just be careful with PETG.

My only gripe is that they don't deburr the edges of the plate, so you can scratch up your magnetic pad pretty badly if you're not careful placing it down. Just run a file to clean up the edges and this thing is perfect and leaves a mirror finish on the parts. They do get a star taken off for that.
