Wham Bam textured PC build surfaces are our high-performance, custom-blended Polycarbonate (or PC) build surface ideal for low-temperature filaments like PLA and TPU, economy mode settings, or low heat beds! The texture is fine and is created by huge rollers with an etched pattern right after it is extruded, NO sprayed on texture here. This is the classic black version of our PC build surface that is 0.5mm thick and pre-backed with 3M adhesive so it takes only seconds to install.

this is money well spent on a great product. you just need to follow directions for installation.

Excellent Build Plate!

This is my go to build plate. Sure it is more expensive than the wannabes and takes longer for shipping, but it is well worth it. I regularly print 50 to 80 hour prints in PLA+ and would trust no other surface to hold securely for that long.

Vast Improvement

Ordered this to replace the factory build plate on my Ender 3 S1 and it's so much better. It's even better than the textured PEI build plate that came with my S1 Pro.

Cannot recommend enough. Any printer I buy in the future will get a WhamBam PEX surface.

Pretty Awesome, But....

I found this plate to be really good for the PLA and PLA + prints; however, for ABS/ASA it was not that great. I followed all directions on it and prints were still lifting from the plate. I did find that if I ran it under water and cleaned with Dawn, then dried it with paper towel, ALL my ABS/ASA prints stuck like they should. I was doing the same for the G10 plate I had, so this is not really an upgrade from that and at the pricepoint, I would have not purchased it.
