Please note that some of our users find this thinner version of PEX (0.19mm) is not as suitable for PETG as our standard version (0.35mm), if using PETG we suggest using a glue stick as a barrier to avoid bonding and possible chipping during part removal.

We start with our original high chromium spring steel Flexi Plates and pre-install our Wham Bam PEX (0.19mm) Build Surface made from a specially formulated polymer with a higher melt point than PEI that attracts most any filament without damaging the sheet. Prints easily pop off once cooled and flexed. Works perfectly with your Wham Bam magnetic base, not included.

Second to none!

Bought 3 PEX build plates, they are INCREDIBLE! My Ender 3 v2 stock build plates had nothing but issues with adhesion but since switching to these build plates I've had zero issues with adhesion and a bonus of it being flexible is the prints pop off easily when done! The only issue I had was if in an unfortunate event the nozzle crashes into the bed when nozzle is heated it easily melts into the bed, however I fixed this issue by only heating the nozzle after doing my auto bed leveling and homing. I can not recommend these build plates enough.

I have multiple models from Wham Bam for different applications and they are great.

Certainly releases well but...

The system installed easily by following instructions. I roughed up the PEX surface with 800 grit wet-and-dry (I had some on hand but not 400-600 as recommended) and IPA but struggling with bed adhesion. It works fine with a raft but small parts still not sticking well enough to print on their own. Hopefully this will settle down after a few prints but if not I will try rougher abrasive. Once finished printing the flex bed comes off the printer easily, cools down fast and parts release instantly so that part is fine.
